Sakali is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 35 kilometres (22 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 2030 houses and a population of 9750 of which 5023 are males while 4727 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 691 people are from Schedule Caste and 1444 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
