Saboor Ali Ansari ([lower-alpha 1]), born on March 3, 1995, is a Pakistani actress known for her work in television and film. She is the younger sister of fellow actress Sajal Aly. Saboor began her acting journey with the family drama "Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain" in 2011 and gained popularity for her comedic performance in the sitcom "Mr. Shamim" in 2015. Following this, she took on supporting roles in various TV series and made her film debut in the romantic comedy "Actor in Law" in 2016, which earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Lux Style Awards. Saboor has since starred in leading roles in dramas like "Mere Khudaya" (2018), "Gul-o-Gulzar" (2019), and "Fitrat" (2020), the latter of which won her the Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress. In 2022, she appeared in "Mushkil" and received critical acclaim for her portrayal of a tomboy in "Parizaad" (2021), earning the Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Personal life[edit]

In 2017, just days before her mother's passing, Saboor, along with her family, performed Umrah. She relocated to Karachi in 2011 to pursue her acting career but returned to Lahore in 2015. Tragically, her mother passed away from cancer in 2017. On January 8, 2022, she married actor Ali Ansari at the Parsi Institute in Karachi.
