Roy is an upcoming Indian Malayalam language mystery thriller film written and directed by Sunil Ibrahim featuring Suraj Venjaramood in the title role,[1] alongside a supporting cast including Sija Rose, V. K. Sreeraman, Shine Tom Chacko, Dr. Rony David, Jins Baskar, Vijeesh, Riya Saira, Anju Joseph and Boban Samuel. The film is produced by Sajeesh Manjeri and Sanoob K. Yousef under the banner of Viswadeepthi Films and Nettooran Films. The film features 2 songs penned by Vinayak Sasikumar and composed by Munna P. M. The background score is composed by Gopi Sundar. Cinematography is handled by Jayesh Mohan, editing by V. Saajan and art direction by M. Bava.[2][3]

Plot[edit]

Roy (Suraj Venjaramood) is an ex-librarian. He is an introvert who lives in his ancestral house with minimum interaction with the outside world. Roy’s bubbly, young wife Teena (Sija Rose) is a journalist and working side by side on her first book. While it is difficult for others to understand their relationship, they love each other wholeheartedly. Rajagopal (V. K. Sreeraman), a veteran writer goes missing. Teena who is an ardent fan of Rajagopal, is one of the persons who has seen him last. The plot thickens when police officers Ajit Easwar (Shine Tom Chacko) and Asif Muhammaed (Jins Baskar) start investigating Roy's and Teena's connection with the case.
