The 20835/20836 Rourkela - Puri Vande Bharat Express is India's upcoming Vande Bharat Express train, connecting the city of Rourkela and terminating at Puri city in Odisha. The train is expected to be inaugurated on 30 September 2023. [1][2]
Overview[edit]
This train will be operated by Indian Railways, connecting Rourkela Jn and Puri. It will be operated with train numbers 20835/20836 on 6 days a week basis. [3][4]
Rakes[edit]
It will be the upcoming 2nd Generation Mini Vande Bharat 2.0 Express train which will be designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India Initiative.[5]

The 20835/20836 Rourkela - Puri Vande Bharat Express will have 7 AC Chair Car and 1 Executive Chair Car coaches. The coaches in Aqua color indicate AC Chair Cars and the coaches in Pink color indicate AC Executive Chair Cars.
