Revolutionaries: The other story of how India won its freedom is a book written by the economist and urbanist Sanjeev Sanyal. The book details the Indian struggle for freedom against the British empire.[1] The book was published in 2023 by Harper Collins, an American publishing company. The book's thesis is that armed Indian nationalists including Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Aurobindo Ghosh, Rashbehari Bose, Bagha Jatin, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, and Subhas Chandra Bose had been important roles in the revolutionary movement, often being overlooked by other historian. Sanyal offers a new view of the story, while maintaining both shouldn’t be overlooked.
