Rajavardan is an Indian actor primarily working in Kannada cinema.[1]

Early life(Before life of career debut)[edit | edit source]

Rajavardan born in Bangalore and His childhood was mostly spent by watching and acting in dramas along with his father. He moved to Bangalore to pursue his education, and he completed his Master of visual art (MVA) at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath and subsequently graduated as a rank student.

Rajavardan is an South Indian film actor, who works mainly in Kannada cinema. he studied Master of Visual Art, however, his interest was set in acting and he used to frequently visit the theatre’s group in Bangalore. Eventually, he landed up with many acting assignments in the same theatre group. He rose to fame with the 2020 blockbuster film Bicchugatti.

Personal life and career[edit | edit source]

Rajavardan is the son of actor Dingri Nagaraj.[2][3][4] Rajavardan then took on the lead role in the historical period film Bicchugatti: Chapter 1 − Dalvayi Dange.[5] In 2024 he collaborated with director S. Dattatreya for the romantic drama Pranayam.[4][6] That same year another film of his, Hiranya directed by Prawin Avyukth, was released.[7] Rajavardan's upcoming film Gajarama is scheduled to be released at the end of 2024.[8]

The big-budget historical movie Bicchugatthi was released on 28 February 2020. Bicchugatthi was well received by critics. He is the first youngest Kannada actor who played historical movie as his debut The Musical maestro Nadabrahma  Hamsalekha was so impressed with Rajavardan work in Bicchugatthi and he also said Rajavardan has great future as an Actor Rajavardan has been described by the critics as one of the most talented actors in Kannada cinema he was given a title, “MASSIVE STAR”,by a Kannada organization.

The next movie "Pranayam" was released in February 2024 and received great reviews, particularly praising Rajavardan's acting and potential in the film industry. He showed he can appeal to both mass and class audiences. The film is a love story, and he proved he can excel in the role of a romantic lead.

Rajavardan's next film, "HIRANYA," was released in June 2024 and tells a gangster story. While it received mixed responses from audiences, it was commercially successful. In this film, Rajavardan proved himself to be one of the mass heroes, and the media praised him as one of the best actors, highlighting his impressive fighting skills and acting skills.

The most anticipated movie featuring Rajavardan is "Gajarama," which is generating a lot of buzz even before its release. Sources indicate that he plays a wrestler in this sports-based film. Ragini Dwivedi makes a special appearance in the song, and the music is composed by Manomurty.

In its review, The Indian Express noted that despite some flaws, Rajavardan "cements them." The reviewer mentioned that he showcases his signature style in action, dialogue delivery, and mannerisms.

Social work[edit | edit source]

He pledged to donate his eyes to Minto Hospital and committed his full body for organ donation to BGS Hospital, making a meaningful contribution to eye and organ donation. He has also been actively involved in several other social initiatives.
