Portulaca grandiflora is a succulent flowering plant in the family Portulacaceae. It has many common names, including Rose moss,[1] Eleven o'clock,[2] Mexican rose,[2] Moss rose,[2] Sun Rose,[3] Rock Rose,[3] and Moss-Rose Purslane.

It is also seen in Southern Asia and widely spread in most of the cities with old 18th- and 19th-century architecture in the Balkans. Within Pakistan it is the Territorial flower of the Islamabad Capital Territory and it's also the National flower of Burkina Faso respectively.
