Portulaca grandiflora is a succulent flowering plant in the family Portulacaceae. It has many common names, including Rose moss,^[1] Eleven o'clock,^[2] Mexican rose,^[2] Moss rose,^[2] Sun Rose,^[3] Rock Rose,^[3] and Moss-Rose Purslane.

It is also seen in Southern Asia and widely spread in most of the cities with old 18th- and 19th-century architecture in the Balkans. Within Pakistan it is the Territorial flower of the Islamabad Capital Territory and it's also the National flower of Burkina Faso respectively.
