One of the great communist leader Late. SRI YEDDULA ESWARA REDDY was from this village. He was elected as Kadapa mp for four times. He sacrificed his whole life in service of people. He donated his 100s acers of land to poor people. In his memory the gandikota reservoir is named as SRI YEDDULA ESWARA REDDY RESERVOIR. He is one of the great leader in kadapa District. Peddapasupula Village is also famous for devotion. Sri Lakshmi Madhavaraya swamy temple is famous in this village.
