Patan is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 46 kilometres (29 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 832 houses and a population of 3882 of which 1968 are males while 1914 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 231 people are from Schedule Caste and 1493 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
