Partha Ghosh (born 23 September 1948) is an Indian politician, belonging to the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation. He was Wb state Secretary of the CPIML Liberation since 2012. On 2021, When he was suffering in COVID-19 disease, He left the Secretary. Abhijit Majumdar the son of Charu Majumdar, is new west bengal State secretary of CPIML Liberation.

Early life[edit]

During student life Partha Ghosh was one of the best student in his time, When He was a student of RG KAR MEDICAL COLLEGE, he joined CPIML. After Majumdar death,he joined Liberation group[1]

Political career[edit]

when CPIML Liberation was an underground party before 1994, Partha Ghosh was a leader of Indian People's Front, The Mass Organisation of CPIML.[2] After the party open, the first party congress 1998, Partha Ghosh was elected as a politburo Member of CPIML Liberation. He was West Bengal state secretary of CPIML up to 2021 since 2012.[3]

During CORONA Pandemic 2020, Partha Ghosh was heavily effected by COVID-19 virus, He was admitted on Calcutta Medical College.[4] During 7 month, when His Party contesting on West Bengal State Assembly Election 2021, when he returned on his house he cannot able to continue the chair of state secretary,[5] Abhijit Majumdar is elected as new West Bengal state secretary.[6][7][8][9]

Partha Ghosh is now much better from previous conditions. He still Continue the west bengal state committee member of CPIML, He also continue the politburo member of CPIML Liberation.[10]

Deucha Pachami Movement[edit]

Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation recently declare a movement against the Deucha Pachami coal project taken by TMC government. CPIML Liberation leader Partha Ghosh call a march on 6 th January 2022 at Seuri District Office against the coal project of Deucha Pachami.[11]
