Panchak is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 29 kilometres (18 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 498 houses and a population of 2330 of which 1210 are males while 1120 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 371 people are from Schedule Caste and 692 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
