Ogrohayon (Bengali: অগ্রহায়ণ Ôgrôhayôn) or alternately spelled Agrahayan is the eighth month in the Bengali calendar.[1][2] It is the second of the two months that make up the Dry season, locally called "Hemanta" (Bengali: হেমন্ত Hemôntô).[3] It is commonly believed that this month is very auspicious for marriage.

The month is named after the star Mrigashīra (Bengali: মৃগশিরা Mrigôshira).

The first day of the month is the Nabanna harvest festival.[4][5]

- Mahesh Chandra Nyayratna Bhattacharyya was born 17 Agrahayan in 1265.[6]
