Nithya Mammen (born 24 July 1997) is an Indian playback singer and architect. Her playback debut was in Edakkad Battalion 06, Nee Himamazhayayi in 2019.

Early life and educationEdit
Nithya Mammen was born to Mammen Varghese and Annamma Mammen. She was born and raised in Qatar.[1] She has studied music since childhood and studied music and architecture at BMS College Banglore.[1] She worked for the Qatar Design Consortium in kolayad and then moved to Kochi to focus on her music career.[1]

Nithya is an architect[2] but was introduced in the film industry by music director Kailas Menon, when his mother noticed in a live stage performance.[1] Her first role as a playback singer was in Edakkad Battalion 06 (2019).[2][3] Nithya was offered to sing track for the song Nee Himamazhayayi, penned by Harinarayanan B K.[4] Later the production team of EB06, which includes Sandra Thomas decided to retain her version with the vocals of K. S. Harisankar Later she has sung for Ishaan Chhabra The Kung Fu Master and for M. Jayachandran who gave her the sensational hit Vathikkalu Vellaripravu from the movie "Sufiyum Sujatayum".[5] "Alare", the romantic duet from the movie Member Rameshan 09 ward, composed by Kailas Menon[6] and penned by Shabareesh Varma, sung along with Ayraan, also gained her appreciation.[1]
In 2021, she released the song 'Mayathe' with Harish Sivaramakrishnan.[7]
She is riding high on the success of her recently-released song, ‘Alaare Neeyenile…’ from Member Rameshan 9aam Ward. The film, due for release last year, is scheduled to hit theatres soon.
SHe had been learning Hindustani classical music back home in Thiruvananthapuram; which she took up again on moving to Kochi, with Bernie of composer duo Bernie-Ignatius.
