Nayan Sarika is an Indian actress, who predominantly works in Telugu films.[1] She won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Female - Telugu for her performance in Gam Gam Ganesha (2024) at the 70th Filmfare Awards South in 2026 and the GAMA Award for Best Debut Actress for her performance in the Aay (2024) film.

Early life and career[edit | edit source]

Originally from Maharastra, Sarika participated in a photo shoot by a family friend at her aunt's residence, which garnered her offers in the Telugu film industry. She was first noticed in Gam Gam Ganesha (2024), which was a flop. She gained recognition for her role in Aay (2024) and won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She followed it up with KA (2024), which was also successful.[2][3][4] She then starred in Vishnu Vinyasam (2026) and Raakaasa (2026), which gave her huge recognition in the Telugu film industry.
