Nala Damayanthi is an upcoming Indian-Tamil language television series starring Priyanka Nalkari[1] and Nandha. The show revolves around Dhamayanthi, a small-town girl who falls in love with a city rich boy Nalan. It will start airing on Zee Tamil from 9 October 2023. This series was launched along with Sandhya Raagam.[2]
Plot[edit]
Nala Damayanthi is the story of a girl Damayanthi, a compassionate cook aspiring to keep her mother's hotel thriving, Damayanthi meets top chef Nalan (Nandha). He decides to usurp her hotel to grow his premium food business.
Nalan soon acting like falls in love with Dhayamanthi, which creates further real love. However, her life changes when she meets businessman Nalan.[3]

Casting[edit]
Priyanka Nalkari was cast as the female lead Damayanthi,[1] who is a her passion for cooking, marking his return after Seetha Raman.[4] Nandha was cast as the male lead Nalan, who is an top chef. Nandha to act in this series, he was left from the series Kanne Kalaimaane which airs on Star Vijay.[5]
Release[edit]
The first promo was released on 13 September 2023, featuring Priyanka Nalkari and revealing the title name.[6] The second promo was unveiled on 24 September 2023, featuring Nandha revealing story.[7] The third promo was unveiled on 28 September 2023, featuring protagonist Priyanka Nalkari, Nandha and actress Ramya Krishnan[8] and revealing the release date.[9][10][11]
The show started airing on Zee Tamil on 9 October 2023, replacing Peranbu.
Promotion[edit]
Zee Tamil was promoted their new two fictions Sandhya Raagam and including this series by making advertisement with actress Ramya Krishnan[8][12][13] and this promo released on 28 September 2023.[14]
