Mukhed is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 68 kilometres (42 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 296 houses and a population of 1822 of which 922 are males while 900 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 17 people are from Schedule Caste and 1737 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
