Methi is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 22 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 45 kilometres (28 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 785 houses and a population of 3646 of which 1894 are males while 1752 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 421 people are from Schedule Caste and 773 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
