Mendhwad is a village in Talode in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 42 kilometres (26 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 213 houses and a population of 902 of which 430 are males while 472 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 5 people are from Schedule Caste and 892 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
