Mehergaon is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 18 kilometres (11 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 883 houses and a population of 4070 of which 2168 are males while 1902 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 267 people are from Schedule Caste and 609 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
