This school was established in 1946 and one of the oldest educational institution of Maynaguri, Jalpaiguri.Under the state board Govt of west Bengal.[1] With a modest beginning Maynaguri High School(H.S.)has evolved,with the passage of time,into one of the finest and oldest educational institutions in the district of Jalpaiguri.[2] Supported by a sprawling enviable premise,the institution has now quite creditably been catering to the academic need of the students hailing from a sprawling area inhabited by mostly SC communities.Rentless efforts on the part of teaching and non-teaching staffs coupled with their warmth and cooperation have provided a friendly,amiable ambience to the school,offering the right conditions to the students who wish to excel and shine in life.This educational institution affiliated with WBBSE for secondary education[3]and WBCHSE for higher secondary education.[4]
