Malod is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 28 kilometres (17 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 478 houses and a population of 2198 of which 1111 are males while 1087 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 57 people are from Schedule Caste and 1630 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
