Mahalkhede is a village in Muktainagar in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 80 kilometres (50 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 334 houses and a population of 1343 of which 705 are males while 638 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 231 people are from Schedule Caste and 369 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
