Leithak Leikharol

Template:Meitei scriptures The Leithak Leikharol (Meitei: ꯂꯩꯊꯛ ꯂꯩꯈꯥꯔꯣꯜ) (literally, "Of Heaven and netherworld"[1]), also spelt as the Leithak Leikhalol (Old Manipuri: ꯂꯩꯊꯛ ꯂꯩꯈꯥꯂꯣꯜ), is an Ancient Meitei language literary narrative work (puya), about the creation myth, genealogy of kings, moral teachings and mythological accounts.[2][3] It mentions some goddesses including Leimarel Sidabi, Nongthang Leima and Panthoibi. Goddess Leimarel Sidabi is said to be the omniscient.[4] It states that goddess Panthoibi slays a demon.[5][6]
