Laxmangarh is a town in Sikar district of Rajasthan state in India.

History[edit]

Laxmangarh was founded by Rao Raja Lakshman Singh of Sikar, in 1805. He also built a fort there now called Laxmangarh Fort.[1]

Geography[edit]

Laxmangarh is located at 27°49′21″N 75°01′31″E / 27.8225°N 75.025278°E / 27.8225; 75.025278.[2] It has an average elevation of 222 metres (728 ft).
