Lasur is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 2083 houses and a population of 9265 of which 4677 are males while 4588 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 743 people are from Schedule Caste and 1965 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
