Kuwarkhot is a village in Akrani in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 125 kilometres (78 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 195 houses and a population of 1258 of which 622 are males while 636 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 2 people are from Schedule Caste and 1225 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
