Kurvel is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 600 houses and a population of 2763 of which 1417 are males while 1346 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 330 people are from Schedule Caste and 1172 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
