Kunal M Shah is a casting director and Entertainment Journalist. He was born and raised in Mumbai, Thane, Maharashtra has been an active part of the showbiz for more than two decades. He was one of the most celebrated and noted film journalist.[1][2][3]

Early life[edit]

Shah’s journey as a ‘casting director’ kicked off in the year 2012 with Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishhq. Since then there is no looking back. His span as a casting director might be just eight years old but in such a short time he has pulled off exceptional casting for plethora of big films like Prassthanam, Roam Rome Mein, #Yaaram, Action Jackson, Youngistaan, Ek Paheli Leela, Mr. X, Hate Story 3, 1921, Raaz Reboot and Laal Rang to name a few.

He already has more than 30 films in his kitty as a casting director. For his exceptional work, he bagged the honour of ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Best Casting Director of the Year 2016’. On the Digital world, he has successfully completed major web shows like Bebaakee, Operation Parindey, Bhram, Fixerr, Bombers, Parchhayee: Ghost Stories' by Ruskin Bond, Modi: Journey of A Common Man, Spotlight 2.

He has more than half a dozen shows in the pipeline.
