Korai is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 62 kilometres (39 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 603 houses and a population of 2941 of which 1467 are males while 1474 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 34 people are from Schedule Caste and 1666 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
