Kolambe is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 453 houses and a population of 2090 of which 1110 are males while 980 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 99 people are from Schedule Caste and 1898 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
