Kharwad is a village in Talode in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 30 kilometres (19 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 314 houses and a population of 1318 of which 667 are males while 651 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 122 people are from Schedule Caste and 605 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
