Kawathe is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 55 kilometres (34 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 574 houses and a population of 2836 of which 1458 are males while 1378 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 78 people are from Schedule Caste and 1041 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
