Karjkupe is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 313 houses and a population of 1483 of which 753 are males while 730 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 68 people are from Schedule Caste and 762 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
