Kanthi Dutt (born December 22, 1999) is one of the youngest serial entrepreneurs from India. With an active presence in the media and e-commerce domains, he is the founder of SustainKart India’s first e-commerce marketplace for a sustainable lifestyle and also runs a media management firm Spartans Media.[1][2] Kanthi was awarded as the "Young Entrepreneur" at the Telangana Rashtra Sarwabhowma Awards 2019.[3] As an author, he penned the book "Rediscovering Path to Success" which was published in 2020.[4]

Personal life[edit]

Kanthi was born on December 22 in 1999 in Hyderabad to VR Murty and Sridevi. He has an elder brother who resides in Australia. After completing his Class X at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Kanthidutt studied Classes XI and XII at Hindu Public School, Hyderabad. He dropped out of college while pursuing Bachelors in Business Administration through distance education.[5]

Awards[edit]

As a young entrepreneur, he was applauded by the Government of Telangana at the Rashtra Sarwabhowma Awards for his inevitable contribution to the state Tourism development.[3][6]

Career[edit]

He started his career at the age of 12 as an entrepreneur.[7] Over the years, Kanthi has worked with many leading brands like Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils, Telangana Tourism, Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Bajaj Electricals, Colors TV, Reebok, TruJet Airlines, Coco-Cola amongst others. He has hosted various celebrity concert tours - including Vidya Vox India Tour, 2020. Kanthi is the founding director of the branding solutions & entertainment company Spartans Media based out of Hyderabad. Over the years, Spartans Media has hosted many prestigious projects.[8]

He has also founded 1CroreTees, a smart social initiative to raise funds for creating better literacy standards in rural areas. In 2021, he founded - SustainKart, a marketplace for sustainable products with fashion designer and entrepreneur Shilpa Reddy.[8][9] The e-commerce startup is valued at over 120 crores within 1 year of inception.
