Kankala is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from sub district headquarter and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 379 houses and a population of 1604 of which 808 are males while 796 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 1604 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
