Kalpataru Projects International Limited formerly known as Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited is an Indian company founded in 1981.[2][5][6] Initially dealing in Power Transmission and Distribution,[7] the company has now expanded to providing services in the verticals of Buildings & Factories, Water Supply & Irrigation, Railways, Oil & Gas Pipelines, Urban Mobility (Flyovers & Metro Rail), Highways and Airports and Biomass plants.[8][9] It is present in more than 67 countries and has projects in over 30 countries.[10]
Guyana's Prime Minister Mark Philips and the High Commissioner of India,(Guyana) Dr KJ Srinivasa has praised the efforts of Kalpataru Projects International to empower Guyana's Gas to power project.[11][12]

Mofatraj P. Munot, an Indian businessman, founded Kalpataru back in 1969 as a property development company.[2][1][13] The company's name Kalpataru is derived from the mythological tree "Kalpavriksha".[14][7]

- Kenya's Power grid connection project to Ethiopia was completed.[15]
- The electricity transmission line project from Mali's Sikasso to Bamako.[16]
- Koshi Corridor transmission line project which was handed over to Nepal Electricity Authority.[17]
