Kalmadi is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 210 houses and a population of 1013 of which 531 are males while 482 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 49 people are from Schedule Caste and 298 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
