Japore is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 283 houses and a population of 1316 of which 676 are males while 640 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 41 people are from Schedule Caste and 381 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
