Jamtalav is a village in Nawapur tehsil in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 301 houses and a population of 1323 of which 645 are males while 678 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 1317 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
