Jalod is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 25 kilometres (16 mi) from sub district headquarter and 80 kilometres (50 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 552 houses and a population of 3519 of which 1798 are males while 1721 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 8 people are from Schedule Caste and 3431 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
