Template:Infobox sports award The Indian Super League: Hero of the League is an annual award given to the best player during an Indian Super League (ISL) season. The winner is presented the Golden Ball. The award was first presented after the league's inaugural season in 2014.
The first winner of the award was Iain Hume of the Kerala Blasters. Goa is the only club to have had two players win the award. Sunil Chhetri is the first Indian to have won the Hero of the League in 2017–18 season.
