Ibbani Karagithu is a 1983 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed by K. V. Jayaram and produced by Mohan. It is based on the novel of the same name by Saisuthe.[1] The film stars Ananth Nag, Lakshmi, Lokesh and Deepa.[2] It was one of the evergreen superhit movies acted by Anant Nag and Lakshmi. Jaggesh debuted in this movie in a small role.

The film was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by Rajan–Nagendra considered evergreen hits. The movie continued the success journey of Anant Nag and Lakshmi duo at the box-office. It is considered one of the best movies of Anant Nag and K. V. Jayaram duo.

The music of the film was composed by Rajan–Nagendra with lyrics by Chi. Udaya Shankar.[3] The songs "Cheluve Oh Cheluve" and "Thanu Ninnadu" composed for the film were received extremely well.
