Hindutva is an upcoming political drama film written and directed by Karan Razdan and it stars Ashish Sharma, Sonarika Bhadoria and Ankit Raj in lead roles. The film is made in two parts and the first part Hindutva Chapter One: Main Hindu Hoon is set to release on October 7, 2022.[1][2] The film was extensively shot in Uttarakhand.[3]

The principal photography of the film commenced in 2021 and it was shot in Rishikesh, Dehradun, Mussoorie, Devprayag, Haridwar and Roorkee for 40 days. The first look poster of the film was unveiled by actor Ashish Sharma himself through his Instagram handle on August 23, 2022[4] and the motion poster of the first part of the film, Hindutva Chapter One: Main Hindu Hoon, was launched by Karan Razdan through his Instagram handle on September 5.[5] According to an interview with Karan Razdan by the Hindustan Times, it took him almost four years to complete the script.[6]
