Halkhede is a village in Muktainagar in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 83 kilometres (52 mi) from sub district headquarter and 113 kilometres (70 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 424 houses and a population of 2584 of which 1324 are males while 1260 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 356 people are from Schedule Caste and 2144 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
