Global Hospitals is an Indian chain of multi-specialty tertiary care hospitals headquartered at Hyderabad, India.[1] Founded by Dr. K. Ravindranath in 1999,[2] the hospital is renowned for its expertise in multi-organ transplants including kidneys, liver, heart and lungs[3] Global Hospitals currently operates five specialized locations in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, and Mumbai.[4] The Hospital Group currently has a 2000-bed capacity.[5] The Global Hospitals Group currently caters to over 300,000 outpatients every year, besides 50,000 in-patients and performs over 18,000 surgeries every year.[6]

Global Hospitals is now Gleneagles Global Hospitals, a part of Parkway Pantai.[7]

The Global Hospitals Group was founded by Dr. K. Ravindranath, who is one of India’s most sought after surgeons.[8] He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons from Glasgow & Edinburgh and an alumnus of Sri Venkateswara Medical college, Tirupati, India.
