Ghotane is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 496 houses and a population of 2661 of which 1378 are males while 1283 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 15 people are from Schedule Caste and 512 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
