Ghodgaon is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 24 kilometres (15 mi) from sub district headquarter and 100 kilometres (62 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 911 houses and a population of 3985 of which 2016 are males while 1969 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 121 people are from Schedule Caste and 1494 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
