Ghadwel is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 84 kilometres (52 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 347 houses and a population of 1449 of which 771 are males while 678 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 29 people are from Schedule Caste and 363 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
