Ganpur is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 25 kilometres (16 mi) from sub district headquarter and 100 kilometres (62 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 886 houses and a population of 3880 of which 1956 are males while 1924 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 119 people are from Schedule Caste and 295 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
