Galangi is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 19 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 85 kilometres (53 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 309 houses and a population of 1362 of which 710 are males while 652 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 39 people are from Schedule Caste and 1221 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
